China Travel Blog – Shanghai and Huangshan

The busy international city of Shanghai and the peaceful Huangshan Mountains are two contrasting stops in China. In Shanghai, we visited People’s Park and People’s Square, strolled down the famous East Nanjing Road and took in the sights and sounds of the Bund. We shopped for bargains at Yu Yuan Market and explored the Tianzifang alleyways.

Then we were off on the bus to the Huangshan Mountains! The mountains are incredibly beautiful and were such a special day. A little expensive… Especially when all the hiking routes basically force you to get a cable car for £10 per person. But worth it! Just check out that view…
