San Francisco Travel Blog

Hiking to the Golden Gate Bridge along the waterfront, watching the sea lions bask in the sun, peering over at Alcatraz from the Municipal Pier and taking in the sights and sounds of China Town – we’re in love with San Francisco.

The city proved it’s reputation for laid-back residents and Californian cool, as we browsed Haight Street and Amoeba Records (named best record store in the world by Rolling Stone Magazine). The Painted Ladies houses shone out even in a sudden downpour and Lombard Street (supposedly the most crooked street ever recorded with eight hairpin bends on one block) drew a crowd despite the rain.

We’re sad we only had two days in SF, but maybe we’ll be back on day!
